  1. I may well look at mogs with cranes on next year anybody got any experience, i know nothing about truck mounted cranes only timber cranes. What would be a good compromise for arb work ?
  2. Paid nearly 500.00 to fill up our red diesel bowser this week 1000 litres ! Last year it was 365.00 !

  4. He Darin you allways look so damn angry in that shot, I'm asuming it was pre-Hayley ? lol Great pic.
  5. A chippers a chipper but IMO there are better built cheaper machines out there. Or for that matter better built more expensive chippers lol
  6. Drugs and drink at work are bang out of order full stop. The only reason we're even debating it is because it's so wide spread in our industry ! Our industry more than most has the potential to kill us every day, chippers, chainsaws, climbing, etc why increase the risk to yourself and you colleagues it's just plain irresponsible in my opinion. I'm not anti weed i've done it a plenty and in the company of a fair few of the members on here but smoking a joint at work is just plain f******g stupid. As Steve said erlier you may not feel stoned or impaired but you will be that's a fact, why take the extra risk ?
  7. Sorry I thought the thread read 'Iritation' and was about Bullman lol
  8. Nothing if you like over priced, over marketed orange chippers
  9. I've installed dripline systems myself but that's about it !
  10. That's debatable Butch I've read you posts lol
  11. Well as i see it there is no limit on distance, the mog has a 3 point linkage, the wood chip is produced through the use of the machine. You are a contractor travelling between a base and a site. You would however be in the do do if you were delivering logs etc.
  12. My old man worked as a countryside ranger in the days of danarm moster chainsaw. They were issued with ear muffs and overalls lol ! He had a saw kick back into his leg, that was sewn up without anesthetic at he royal military hospital Aldershot ouch !!
  13. You in a stirring mood tonight Ian ? LMAO
  14. Ditto and once again i'll make the point that i was stopped, investigated and had to make a case for running my mogs on red which i did and I have a letter from HMRCE saying I can.
  15. BTW I tripped over out in the wood over a saw log i'd cut the saw was switched off but went straight through my jacket and left me with a nice cut requiring 8 stitches.
  16. Ouch ! Hopefully Pete will post his picture soon as that was the one that woke me up for a good few months last year !
