  1. Today and some of yesterday, big old cedar (blue atlantic) lovely customers, late 80s and when she was 4 she was given a small wooden Bear, so they asked for something similar to it. Nice to put a smile on someone's face :-D

  13. Looks like the work of Jamie doeren. He was the first to make an eye tool. The notches round the edge help to make the first cut, it then burns its way into the wood, harder work on oak! I made one from a cylindrical rasp bit. Nice for cutesy creatures. Si

  21. The tree is still in situ! stuck well and truly in the ground where it stood. It's a 2 min drive up the lake from the hotel. look out for the old village car park and follow the Giants of Vyrnwy trail!
