  3. A weeks work so far. a few tweaks etc next week!
  4. Haven't posted here for ages but this one is very appropriate for an arb site!! It was the tallest tree in Wales, felled by Matt Pooley of Treefellers.   11. Ok, so I got the big job, looking for a large lump of oak, preferrably around 3-4ft diameter and around 10 feet long. knotty and twisty is fine. any leads or contacts appreciated. I understand its goin to be difficult to find! If delivery is an option to North Wales then I will happily pay to deliver as well. Need it by August so pleeeese let me know if you've got any take downs coming up!

  13. Mick is trying to get out of it now, he's started refferring people to me. I have put together basic, intermediate and advanced courses, but will only do them when I have enough people to run one. I think if you are interested I will have enough, but I'm in Wrexham, North Wales, so you might want to think about how far you want to go. I did have two guys from down south who came up and did an advanced course last year. email me and I'll send you the info. [email protected]

  23. I've just had 6 tons of douglas milled tommy. I've got enough to supply in 2" thick, I'd have to look at the 2 1/2" to see if I have enough. Give me a call if you've not found any closer to you.
  24. the moose is fun :-D love the table too. Customers often ask 'what if someone nicks it?' when it a heavy piece I say 'if they can lift it, they can have it!'
  25. about 1 and a half hours each. they're around 10"-12" tall
