  12. I just use semi chisel chain on all my saws. It's way better for ripping cuts.
  13. Yep that's the one 😄 cut it into sections with v shaped cuts.
  14. Oregon, Stihl are both made by sugihara. At least that was the last I heard. I think most other than cannon are made by one of three factories in japan and sold on with different branding. I think like most products they have a premium range and a budget range. The budget range are most likely to be bought by a third party and branded 😀 cannon are a family run business in Canada and IMHO still have the edge 😊

  16. Hi all, been a long time since carving took over my tree climbing career so don't know what's out there these days! I have a mate just starting out and need to know what's a comfortable setup, good harnesses etc. I've recommended a very basic setup using ropes as friction knots and no shiny bits. Any thoughts? I thought get a long rope and cut a 5m section off for a side strop...
