Last time I looked, York was neither in North Wales or Cheshire. Call me cynical, but your ringing endorsment smacks of self promotion.

  6. Is it your rope? Perhaps its the additional loading stretching out and making it thinner......
  7. I read somewhere that scorch is 12.7mm, but that could be wrong. Maybe its just a tighter weave.
  8. What do you do if you need to use a chainsaw in thorn? Do you have to wear the gauntletts over the saw gloves?
  9. xtc fire or scorch @ 13mm diameter as opposed to yale blaze @ 11.1 mm diameter?
  10. I think you've got those the wrong way round mate.
  11. Great boots, wish I'd had mine resoled before i wore them right out. If i'd had the soles done in time i would have got 2 years out of them. Very nice to climb or walk in, but not so good with spikes, imo.
  12. No objections here.
  13. I have used one on a playground roundabout. Fun but not as fast as that!

    How easy?

Funny you should say that, I was offered work as a stove fitter recently. Should have taken the guy up on it really, his company has several full time fitters and they are booked up for weeks.

    How easy?

I had mine fitted, then later took it out, rebuild the fireplace and the chimney breast, and refitted it. I also installed the radiator system. I'm not against doing things yourself, but one should be aware of any drawbacks. I have the best of both worlds, as I have it fitted how I want it, and I have the hetas certificate. If you want a good fitter in stockport danny, pm me.
  16. 8 or 10mm, the stuff I have is 8mm

    How easy?

The only reason I would advise against fitting your own is that if something does go wrong, and the house is damaged, your home insurance will not cover the damage. If you have one fitted by a hetas registered fitter, and something goes wrong, you will be covered.
  18. Ah yes, so it was. Dont think there are any trees with that in them!
  19. At my local Indian takeaway, the local teenagers have developed a jolly wheeze. One of them will go in, order a kebab, pay for it, and then nip across the road for a pack of fags. Their mate then comes in, picks the kebab up, and disappears. The original identi-chav returns and demands his kebab. If he doesnt get it the shop get beset by vandals. I suppose its a form of protection racket really. Curry related crime eh?!
  20. I prefer this version [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0x3W6hutEj8&feature=related]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0x3W6hutEj8&feature=related[/ame]

  22. If I get one I'll post a pic! Anway, if i save £50 on the tree i can spend an extra £50 on presents to go under it.
  23. So you are into sheep then. I did wonder with you being in wales and all.
  24. I'm planning on using the top out of a leylandii, hopefully there will be a good specimen to top next week.
  25. You're never too young to embrace retirement, and the delights of being a kept man. After all, when you're old enough to officially retire, you'll be too old and knackered to enjoy it!
