  1. Looks good.
  2. The rope slider is a nice simple idea.
  3. Interesting, robbed off the Treetools blog. Climbing Gear - Spider
  4. Indeed or a log or even a dead Badger.
  5. Love the Audi avatar.
  6. Well it does make climbing through the crown very easy, you can redirect as many times as you like without any friction or drag because its a single line, the RW enables the hitch to behave much like a hitch on a traditional double rope system, it pretty much feels the same.
  7. A little SRT today with the RW, Lead weight idea stolen from Paolo, rubber innertube idea stolen from Mr T Sorenson, I think.
  8. It's not that big.
  9. Same as above. Wire fid.
  10. D Ditto.
  11. It's just a dream, Kev should get together with DMM.
  12. Alloy one?
  13. Yes Steve, I can see if I can get two more, one for you and Paul?
  14. Yep, mid line attachment is then possible, it also solves the problem of getting a spliced eye through the wrench without having to thread the whole rope through from the other end.
  15. Got a pin on order, thanks to the TH.
  16. Ha, kids!
  17. I must be on ignore, COASTER BRAKE!
  18. Hydrophobic leather, leather that's afraid of water, incredible.
  19. Coaster brake Mark.
  20. The bots love a nice genuine email address.
  21. It's different and at the same time oddly familiar climbing SRT with the RW.
  22. You hold the hitch, I think I need to lengthen the tether on mine as there is little room for the hand and I managed to pinch my glove a couple of times today.
  23. Best wishes for the move Paul, dead Thuja today, SRT with the wrench, I must be losing it:)
  24. I just set it up to try out that idea Steve and as the hitch is supposed to work independently of the RW then I suppose it may work but after using the RW on a Oak, dead wood today and just clipping the lanyard over the shoulder I don't think it would be of any advantage? I never, well hardly ever, climb SRT and only then for access so I had some good fun today.
  25. Yeah you do have to push the hitch up, it will not self tend unless you use the lanyard trick or I suppose some kind of chest attachment, hoping to give the RW a decent try out this week on some tallish pines.
