  1. My good friend Pete was lucky enough to meet Graeme, nice to see a hardcore aussie climber in action.
  2. I didn't bother rigging that side as you could see it moving around as I climbed it, the other side however, despite being in a state I did rig, no pulleys though as that would have put too much strain on it, instead I ran the rope around the trunk and around two limbs to spread the load.
  3. Well, you made that look like a piece of cake. Very nice.
  4. One more.
  5. Monday, freezing rain, split/hollow Robinia, full of muck and the private collections from various crows, (probably) and the tree, at one point, grabbed my phone and snapped a picture of me.
  6. Excellent, excellent work Steve.
  7. I am hanging on to my Eltens, yeah they are splitting at the heels but by god, they are comfy.
  8. I am shocked, yes shocked by your attitude. You can't inflict Australians upon them. That's inhumane.
  9. They have a car racing boot look to them.
  10. Lock em up? Lock em up? How dare you, I am a single mother and I find you most offensive.
  11. The tree has a healthy lean, has a stable block directly below, a nice cottage about three foot to the right of it, nice brittle tree at the best of times, should be fun.
  12. Chortle.
  13. When single mothers go to jail for not paying for a TV license somethings got to be wrong no? I do agree with Ed though, the BBC produces some fine television.
  14. Dare I say New England Safety Blue? I love mine, nice fat and fluffy but I use blaze now, the NE comes out only on special occasions.
  15. Pete is right, it's a washing machine. Thanks Tony any more info? I have mislaid my id book.
  16. They were on the base of the trunk.
  17. Some skilled work fellas!
  18. This was on a very big Tree of Heaven that I will be taking down soon with a hoist, it looks like King Alfred Cake but I don't know, I am just a simple climber, what do you think? Sorry about the picture quality.
  19. This was on one of the Ash trees and the surrounding ground, I looked at today, Honey Fungus I think?
  20. I don't think you can do much about it apart from laying your rope out to its full length and un-twisting it by hand, I have done this with a old XTC, it worked for a while but then I got fed up and bought a new rope.
  21. First album was, I think, Legend by Bob Marley and the Wailers, a compilation album, my last... I can't remember, I never buy albums for myself but I just bought Linkin Park, Minutes to Midnight for the missus and the Amy Winehouse album for my sister. Oh and Paul, shame on you, lol.
  22. WOMAN'S DIARY: Saturday 20th October 2007 Saw him in the evening and he was acting really strangely. I had been shopping in the afternoon with the girls and I did turn up a bit late so thought it might be that. The bar was really crowded and loud so I suggested we go somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very subdued and distracted so I suggested we go somewhere nice to eat. All through dinner he just didn't seem himself; he hardly laughed and didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying. I just knew that something was wrong. He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in; he hesitated but followed. I asked him again if there was something the matter but he just half shook his head and turned the television on. After about 10 minutes of silence, I said I was going upstairs to bed. I put my arms around him and told him that I loved him deeply. He just gave a sigh and a sad sort of smile. He didn't follow me up but later he did, and I was surprised when we made love. He still seemed distant and a bit cold, and I started to think that he was going to leave me and that he had found someone else. I cried myself to sleep. MANS DIARY: Saturday 20th October 2007 England lost to South Africa. Gutted. Got a shag though.
  23. 12" for me, have got a 020t with 14" bar but rarely use it, well, ok, never.
  24. High Scale

    Lazy.

Yeah I am lazy. I detest dragging brash especially when there is no need, I find it intensely annoying when some people go out of there way to make the job harder than it should be. http://s234.photobucket.com/albums/ee56/highscale/?action=view&current=SV_A0057.flv
  25. Last pic is cool OM.
