  1. Pete Mctree told me about using those straps for split trees, I had never considered it before, silly me.
  2. Have you got a truck strap on the tree in the first pic?

I wear a full suit of Armour like this... But, without the sword pointy thing.
  7. The Japanese processed pine to use as fuel for vehicles during WW11 as there was a huge shortage of petrol I believe.
  8. Yeah, but you are weird, remember, I have seen you scoff a whole malt loaf in one go and you think that that is normal behavior.
  9. I blame the Normans.
  10. I tell you! Those bloody Romans and their chariots!
  11. I quite like Blighty, always thought we would end up in Oz but after visiting a couple of times and working there, maybe not. My mate has been there over twelve years and has given up on the tree work, too many sharks in the business he reckons, he is on a good gig now doing rope access on the railways, good money and less risk. I dunno, the grass is not always greener and I always find it funny that people complain about immigrants to this country and then emigrate themselves.
  12. Hope your mate heals quickly.
  13. Mint? Are you from the west country?
  14. This left me with a ten pence size wee on my trousers. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=849_1194398529
  15. FIVE!! that's got to be a record? Quick, call Norris Mcwhirter. You may have to use a medium.
  16. Sorry Colin, those are all the pics I have but I will try to get down there and take some more pictures.
  17. Who Dan? He is a very busy man.
  18. Well it is when you work for a cool bloke like Danners, I went to college with him and have known him for over ten years. Mr Tee took the double climber picture.
  19. I don't know if you remember the picture of the huge split Oak that I posted a while back? Well, the family and I returned at the weekend to find it had completely torn out.
  20. This Beech tree had been previously topped and cut back on the garden side, Dan and I went up it today to carry out some further carnage. First picture shows damage probably caused by fire.
  21. Bloody lovely.
  22. Well, this is what I am of the whole subject. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9TSWkWqX2E
  23. I sometimes tip a borrowed 7.5 truck full of wood waste at a organics recycling site, they told me if you ever come in and see loads of hi viz coats about turn around and drive out, but otherwise, you want to tip? that will be twenty three quid please.
  24. I like rigging, I confess.
