  1. I could do it, though both ends isn't really a good idea. PM me.
  2. Hmm, don't tell Pete Mctree.
  3. This is what I like about the HH, I climbed around the top of this Horse Chestnut using drt down to the tie in point in the picture, then swapped to SRT for the long branch walks, it's easy to get back to the tie in point to change over, if required, say if you are coming down. Sometimes I won't use a biner but instead a ruining bowline with a long tail for easy reach. There are no absolutes, everything is fluid and changes tree by tree, branch by branch.
  4. I think you may be right about the lack of cambium saver causing jerking, there is way more friction using the HH drt, friction at your TIP, friction at the hitch and friction at the HH.
  5. Which one?
  6. No. It's not really a concern as 90% of my climbing is SRT.
  7. Yes but not every time.
  8. Try a "Belgian mix"
  9. I find it difficult chopping lines whilst aloft, it tends to get blown away.
  10. I'm pretty heavily involved in taking Scopolamine at work lately. I think.
  11. Not officially.
  12. Nah, I tend to leave it on.
  13. Nice one Tommy.
  14. Hitch cord seems to last ages using the HH, maybe I should start climbing faster?
  15. No I'm not sure. Who knows?
  16. Er, I don't use 6mm at all now and would NOT recommend using it although the 6mm Liros worked brilliantly. I don't think the HH needs a CE mark the same as the RW doesn't.
  17. Double braid, I don't get it.
  18. Why would they need to be CE certified if you are going to use the for rigging?
  19. Yep, I did post the link.
  20. If its that bad I'll come back, expect a call!
  21. Oh, we are heading to the Gower for the week with the family surfers.
  22. Contact Paul at, Hitch Hiker | RopeTek
  23. I just used hitch cord but used hollow braid splices then pulled the cover back over and stitched it on.
  24. Treeworker stocks it. Probably.
