  1. same as, certificates
  2. I'm in the position of loosing my groundy in the next few weeks. As much as i hate it, i'm thinking about training someone up (again!), as opposed to hiring trained staff. What do others do; trained or untrained? and what do you see as the benifits of both
  3. Looks like i'm not replacing my card!!!!!! ouch!
  4. Are you wanting generic assesments, or something more specific?
  5. The forum must discriminate depending which side of the pond you live:p
  6. I feel for those in the flood zone. Saw on the news that people were bulk buying bottled water then selling it at £5 a bottle. Scum, they should have there stash liberated and handed out
  7. Rough with the smooth Tim. I had a nice lazy day off and the hangover of doom! At least I managed to catch up on some paperwork and go for a walk on the moors (which was complete bliss)
  8. It does have it's drawbacks, and it is not my best habit for sure
  9. No worries Gary, welcome!!!
  10. cheers Gary, i was getting hopefull
  11. Fabreeze works wonders on stinky boots!
  12. 6.5 ton wagon with 12in chipper, anything bigger would be restricting around my way. Valmet would be nice to carry the timber away or a nice MB trac, similar set up to Andy I guess.
  13. It's about time someone came up with a dedicated climbing boot. Fabric, soft rubber soles etc. There are no boots on the market IMO that are soft or flexible enough for what we need
  14. testing embedded pic
  15. nice idea lee. I think it would be a cool gesture
  16. Thought you had to go outside to smoke tim?
  17. I'm loving mine. It took a while to adjust properly but worth the effort. The 2nd D attachments i found awkward initially, but i'm using them more and more. I have deceloped a habit of using 2 lanyards on dismantles, especially blocking down stems, i find it easier than messing around with a lifeline, which i now just hang off the back of my harness No difficulty with the rear saw attachment. I like the ability to reach either way to grab it, i still clip the saw high to my right side though when needed
  18. maybe it would be easier to write a list. Main problem i have is with elbow and shoulder joints. No way to rest them, trimming hedges is the worst antagonist Stretching does help alot. Been doing it for a couple of years and the benifits are amazing
  19. Rain held off here so far. Managed to re reduce a cople of birches and drastically over reduce a chesnut and a sycamore. Early finish as well, so BRING ON THE WEEKEND:)
  20. I love my klimas, too numb for pruning work, but great for spikes and ground work. very hard waring
  21. neck pains are quite common in overapaid climbers I hear
  22. dont know about different stuff but starting with what you consider of the best bits of the other forums might be a starting point
  23. And steal some smilies!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Is it working yet?
