  1. hahaha. Nice Lee, jacket potatoes with crappy tinned tuna, baked beans and LOADS of cheese on tonights menu
  2. Ok day for me. Fixed the belt tensioner on the chipper, which I broke yesterday, and my new groundie started. He's a nice guy and eager to learn without being a pita about it. Fingers crossed he might work out
  3. here is my set up. I can clip the saw high to either caritool. The silky being slung low keeps it out of the way
  4. i have found little problem adapting to it. I have always used long lanyards so I can pass the saw to either side of me. The flexibility gained is worth the inconveniance
  5. I like my Natanokko (sp?) I'm limited to a few saws though, as the curved ones do not have the option of a lefthanded scabbard.
  6. I will put one on the wish list!
  7. What kind of money are they running at? Looks a handy tool
  8. Would be fantastic to sell as an optional extra on all chippers Ed
  9. I will be heading up to the north end of the lakes. My sister lives in Cockermouth so it is more to see her if I go
  10. I feel better after a couple of days camping and walking in the peaks. Even better I'm off climbing tomorrow and monday in the lakes or north yorkshire
  11. Great idea as an option. Single axle is easier to manhandle, double better for towing. Always make sure the jockey wheel lifts the front tyres off the ground
  12. Nice looking rig Squish. Is that chipper an old "chuck n duck" ?
  13. Rumination posted this over at the treehouse, what do you think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bbMWQM_1JQ I'm not convinced, well concieved and designed. I can see certain flaws though
  14. The sun is shining, a little windy but all told a nice day. Makes a pleasant change it being dry up here
  15. 11.00 am the sycamore tree is dead and i'm done. Happy days especially when I don't have to clean up the huge pile of crap I just created
  16. Was bored of floating around from job to job. It just seemed like a good idea at the time. 14 years later, i'm still at it! (not sure it was a good idea though
  17. Nice pics Leon, what kind of tree is it? Not one I know
  18. hahaha, I think it may be a little impractical for tree work, unless you can hover with no hands on the controls
  19. They look good, a little too much like hard work for me. I want one of these
  20. Premature for summer? It's about 9 months away by my reconing
  21. Thankfully this position is taken. Thanks for the pms guys n girls. Appreciated
  22. I went under it in a little tourist boat. No picture can give you the scale or magnitude of it. Nice pics Deva
  23. I have only worked with it twice. Both times I have been impressed, but it is not 2nd nature yet and I like keeping it simple
  24. Welcome guys!
  25. Looking good Carl. Lz looks tight!
