  1. i think my missus will kill me if i even suggest going to look at trees. staying at a campsite on the banks of the thames, perhaps we'll do a little fishing if allowed. wheres that coral reef pool?

  4. ive used a dremel attachment in the past for long chains that have been really screwed..they still need finishing off by hand though

  15. this doesnt make a good rope....but consistency in size would be nice. theres all sorts of rope out there ranging from 11mm to 13mm and yet they all seem different......im now climbing on a 12mm line which im told is a strict 12mm....yet ive got an 11mm rope that seems thicker.
  16. yes......cos they're the rules!!! seriously though...its all common sense but there needs to be guidelines layed down.....also there is a need for me to cover myself legally
  17. i did mention aeration to the customer...its the most obvious reason for the dieback, completely surrounded with tarmac, no other obvious symptoms of disease. the guy did want to save the tree but primarily wanted to make it safe...... oh and yes the branch does look like its hanging on the wire!!! i can assure you it wasnt though.
