  9. thats where i learnt it:wink: ive nearly run the armor prus on all my ropes now.....its worked without complaint on every rope so far.....definetly one of the best premium cords ive used without doubt....i've always sworn by my bog standard marine double braid but im converted!

  11. this mornings job, reduction of Chestnut. Spec was to tie it in with the height of the one behind. Tree had a few large cavities lower down plus evidence of phytophora
  12. not a great vid, and just a regular pulley, but hopefully its a start, i'll try get some better footage

  14. im not really sure what you're stuggling with to be honest mate, if you're already experienced with v.t use it really isnt any different to advance than a regular pulley.
  15. the hitch climber is intended for the VT or similar knots Mac, cant see how you will get any benefits from using it with a basic prussik i'll take a video of one in use next week if you like.

  20. i was swarmed by wasps monday, got stung about 20 times 50ft up......as you can imagine i made an exceptionally fast descent. I was using a piece of armor prus that i had been climbing on for the past 2 weeks. When i inspected it there was no glazing on it, even though i was expecting it to have been totally burnt out.
  21. lets not forget the people who rushed out and bought houses because they believed what the estate agents were telling them about the house prices going up.....thus making the prices go up......this hasn't helped anyone.
