  1. have you tried a tree magic? the other harness im trying at the moment is the Heightec Bee http://www.sevsafe.co.uk/acatalog/Heightec_Arborists__Harnesses_and_accessories.html which is actually quite a comfy harness......i know the tree hopper seems popular with female climbers, i think this does adjust quite small.
  2. theres no standard rate....you set your own rate based on A. what you think you're worth, and B. how much you need to live on. Then you either get work or you dont....you'll soon know if your pricing is right.
  3. theres not enough money in this game to go into a partnership IMO....particularly when starting out. profits will be shared with little money left for expansion
  4. undoubtedly someone somewhere will be out of pocket without realizing.
  5. i hear the latest is gordon brown is blaming the food price increase on us buying too much food then wasting it
  6. cheers stuart, we checked out coral reef....apart form the hour long queue, 1 in, 1 out, it was well worth going to!
  7. i've done church work in the past where ive been asked to leave the firewood for some of the poorer members of the congregation, and the wood has sat there for months.....my guess is that would be whats happened here.
  8. and what sort of size is that?
  9. 90ft...are you sure? picture looks deceiving if so
  10. well if thats right its chucked our theory out.
  11. whats your best guess at the age of this Ginko. At approximately 60ft its the largest example i've personally seen. I have a reasonably accurate assessment of its age but would like to hear your guesses.
  12. screwgates used to suck...id tighten them up hard as i could at the start of my climb, then after a couple hours hard climbing(and it was hard at the start) i wouldnt have the strength to undo the bloody things
  13. im struggling to see how that would work, it would get in the way of your krabs on the sliding bridge, whereas the ropeman sits the opposite side of the d and acts more like a stopper.
  14. we discussed that last year roger when the tree motion first came out, i believe it was rupe who showed it me. If i recall it was criticized quite heavily at the time.
  15. yeah and you typing in the keyword dont help either numb nuts! i'll get that blocked haha
  16. i think my missus will kill me if i even suggest going to look at trees. staying at a campsite on the banks of the thames, perhaps we'll do a little fishing if allowed. wheres that coral reef pool?
  17. taking the kids to legoland coming weekend, we'll be camping over and i just wondered what else there is for kids to do in that area, anyone? cheers
  18. perhaps you should be sure before making claims like that
  19. ive used a dremel attachment in the past for long chains that have been really screwed..they still need finishing off by hand though
  20. is it similar to the fly splice?
  21. damm...it truly is, i totally neglected to put my name on mine...how will i know which it is if it gets handed in to lost and found:confused1:
