  4. good movie....it was feel good factor 10 for all us little guys:sneaky2:
  5. you wouldnt even have needed to lower it if you had stevies machine, you could have just hoisted the chipper into the tree and chipped in situ:001_tt2:
  6. great shots mate. babes a cracker...wish mine were smaller enough to carry in a papoose again!
  7. you should have included the youtube clip:biggrin:
  8. i already did that yesterday in the hope of finding the drivers details
  9. its ok mate...ive moved it to off topic
  10. also i think it would be prudent to put a marlin spike with a krab in just a bit above the vt. can you picture the effect its going to have once thats all cinched up tight? could be looking at some funny cross loading on the hitch climber biners against the anchor branch
  11. thats my point, you could tie the tail to the krab and start hauling but run out of rope half way up then you'd be screwed
  12. hmmmm took me a while to get my head round that....its pretty neat....better make sure your rope is long enough before you start hauling your system to your TIP though
  13. thats a v.t with a knut termination by the looks of it. you have loads of slack there to play with. that'll work as it is, but id personally lose that knut termination and just put in another wrap. there should be maybe 3inches of cord left between the last crossover and the eye
  14. sounds like you need another wrap if you have enough cord. thats the problem with those ready made eye to eye cords. best off tying your own eyes
  15. im sure he can get them. wonder who the distributor for them is. personally i didnt get on with the pferd files, id have to change that!
  16. thanks! im looking forward to norfolk too. had broken ribs so couldnt enter this year but plan to next year
  17. you're expanding...you even have a custom built woodchipper shed!!!!
  18. thanks felix, someone just got in before you but will keep you in mind for future works
