  5. I see what you did there
  6. No, not a clue!
  7. From memory it’s 4.1m for a hatchet and 6.1 for a double bit
  8. Its mostly pretty easy if you're standing at the correct distance, which mostly takes care of the axe rotation. Where it gets fun is when you try long distance throwing.
  9. Pines good, harder to source a 3ft ring though....and pretty heavy to get upright!
  10. Poplar works well, and easy to source big rings

  13. I meant to double check that setting wasn’t altered in the update, I’ll check shortly
  14. Spent much of today optimising the site and adserver. Page sizes are now about 70% smaller. Not convinced that's the only reason why some people are experiencing speed issues but it needed doing regardless. Hope to hear some feedback from those with browsing problems
  15. For all those having issues If you could please let me know what devices, operating systems and browsers you’re using it would be helpful. Also if you notice issues on any particular pages please. Can’t replicate the speed issues my end, so looking for any sort of a pattern to work with
  16. I’m not sure why some people are having speed issues, should be faster if anything. Ads load before you get to them, shouldn’t be particularly noticeable when you’re still at the top of the page
  17. That’s the only conclusion I can come up with
  18. I would have loved a pair of those battery secateurs years ago for Lime pollards and epicormic. Secateurs were always my go-to tool for such a job, but a day of it can be quite fatiguing.
  19. I don’t like to be judgmental about these things specially given the outcome, but it really is hard to understand how anyone thought this was a good idea: climber and ground staff alike
  20. I don’t sorry
  21. Just to add, payload isn’t really the biggest issue, weight distribution is what will catch you out
  22. If you’re concerned about staying legal you should probably steer clear of a crew cab as you’ll be fighting a losing battle. By the time you’ve put an arb body on you’ll be lucky to get a cube of wood chip on legally
  23. Looks to have been anchored into a tree behind and stropped onto the beech. The beech gave way and took him with it, snapping his main line…..as far as can be seen on the video
  24. Saw the video, it was pretty brutal
