  1. Those sprinters do look cool. I'd love to see a vito converted
  2. Yeah the flow rider is still there. Kids want to do that next time we go.
  3. not really...its an awesome feeling though. The rush will come from the real thing
  4. Also took the kids yesterday for the first time, they loved it. Watch till the end for the instructors demo session
  5. Well this is my new hobby and i'm thoroughly addicted. Clocked up 9 sessions now and at only 1:40 duration for each session progress is pretty slow. Starting to get the hang of it though. [ame] [/ame]
  6. I too rate it Paul. As for recognition, I was referring more to recognition amongst homeowners in the USA. It never held that level of recognition in the UK. Only within the arb industry itself IMO
  7. Never come across those. I use to use matadors on my old LDV, just on the back 4 though. Probably no merit on sticking them on the front even if they do look cooler
  8. Hard to say really, but tyres do make a massive difference even on Transits and other 3.5t trucks. I would think tyre imprints on grass would be preferable to skid marks though. No one likes skidmarks
  9. Unless things have changed the ISA chapter for the UK is no more, so I guess the ISA is pretty much unrecognised in the industry unfortunately. Even prior to that it wasn't really that recognisable unlike in the USA.
  10. I'm afraid theres no room for guestimates with the weights and measures act. You will never be able to guarantee that minimum weight unless you use a bag full of balsa wood as your base measurement.
  11. I don't think its an unreasonable letter at all. Its about time something was done about this, theres been numerous threads about us needing some common ground on this already.
  12. Keep an eye on the forum, Treeshirtz hoodies going on sale next week
  13. Well as for the price I think I made my opinion known on that. There's no excuse for shoddy work though and the excuses for leaving the branches behind are pretty lame, but that's life I guess
  14. Crikey. Then first company I started working for when I started tree work had a minimum charge of £40...that was 18 years ago!
  15. I don't really know why some get it and others don't to be honest. If it was a consistent problem it would be far easier to fix
  16. Many thanks to TVI for not only turning up with the rods today but also cleaning the chimney aswell. Look forward to having the first fire this evening
  17. Hasn't stopped raining here today, thankfully i'm not working!
