  1. Good few extras i'd say! Well done Rob
  2. If you're worried about heat then ditch the ear muffs for ear plugs, will make the world of difference
  3. Anyone tried this combo please?
  4. I have indeed! I take the rubber floor mat out of my navara and sit on that if needs be, though most of the time i'll sit on a jacket or something
  5. Customer wants it reduced to waist height, all arisings to be chipped and logged and left on site.
  6. chased this up and you should hear something shortly if you haven't already
  7. Interested site on genetically engineered trees Suppose it had to follow the GE crops eventually
  8. They are nice saws for sure. Was ringing down with one today, made easy work of a big trunk
  9. Pointers, right leg clamping the saw to my left leg. Left fore arm(sleeved preferably) resting on the bar serving to steady the bar and act as a guide for the file Pretty self explanatory, key points here is only sharpen 2 or 3 teeth at a time immediately in front of the power head where theres no flex in the bar.
  10. Finished ringing down a Lime tree that i started last week. Riddled with kretzschmatia deusta. When I ratcheted the rigging block on one side compressed like tissue paper. No pics of the job but it was basically the same size as the tree next to it
  11. sit on your backside and sharpen it. Its the only way I sharpen, even when a vice is an option
  12. Thanks for letting me know, will chase this up for you
  13. Navigate to the forum you wish to post in, employment in this case, you'll then see the new thread button
  14. be nice if they said why not to use graphite powder
  15. Just seen your other post. Good luck sourcing something, and please post the finished results of your project!
  16. i'd agree with this largely, attitude does change things. However when you're climbing around in a slippy tree all day and your muscles are aching because of it, its hard to stay positive!!
  17. All by hand Jonny? Too small to bother getting a harvester in for i assume
  18. No but I have seen it before, not much use I know
  19. Company I work for has one. I never use it but its often on jobs i'm on. It seems a pretty good unit as far as access goes. It does seem to have issues here and there with switches/sensors needing replacing. I doubt any of the others are any different though
  20. I spent enough of my time worrying about what other people do, and it made me miserable. Now I just concentrate on my own thing and my stress levels are non existent most of the time. Lifes too short and I have far more productive things to do with my time
