  1. Still waiting for the childrens trust to complete their end of things! Was really hoping to have it up by now. Will run it later into January to make up for it. Fingers crossed tomorrow
  2. Only 1 flaw in that plan....most of the time wasters and hypochondriacs are probably on benefits and wouldn't have to pay the fee anyway...just us poor mugs who work for a living as always
  3. Just ironing out a few things with the childrens trust, its coming together though, should be live by the weekend. I will run it a little later into January as per last year.
  4. If you have some decent buttress roots then you should be fine. 2 options in these situations, use the buttress roots and fell as low as possible, or sometimes fell higher above the rot(if you know where it is)...impossibly to say over the internet though
  5. That....plus people just dont register their stuff even when its free to do so
  6. I bought my ex a food processor one year...she had mentioned several times through the year she wanted one so figured I would get her one, it was a good one too. It ended up in the garage, unopened and unused. The following year I wrapped it up and put it under the tree again. Its starting to become clear why she's my ex the more time passes. Save
  7. first couple of seasons of Arrow were also damm good. Its starting to get a bit silly now though
  8. Banshee is awesome, one of my favourite shows. I have watched it over a few times now. The Spartacus series was also awesome, well worth watching
  9. Think I remember seeing something similar on Ebay a couple of Januarys ago
  10. its common sense really. If you are one handing a saw in a position where its possible a kickback could result in the saw hitting your throat, then I can't imagine such a scenario where one handing would even me necessary. What I think more of a concern for a potential cut to the throat would be when blocking down. Whenever I am instructing learner climbers I always tell them where possible to make there cuts from the side rather than in front of them. Not the the fact that cutting in front of them could result in a kick back to the throat, but equally a gaff out could give the same result
  11. If you could please. I need to be that climber who gets to shout at everyone from the top of the tree...makes me feel important and stuff Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
