  1. Not really got into French wine, mostly drunk Italian and sometimes chillian. Planning a trip to Bordeaux soon though so might start experimenting more
  2. Click on the comment tab...default is set to review. I will see if i can change that, or perhaps remove the review option altogether, not sure its needed.
  3. bump If anyone uses a recycling centre or other tip point that they would be willing to share, please post it here. I have a nice new feature coming soon but need some help populating it. This will help everyone throughout the country so please contribute if you are able.
  4. I think this is the only route to take if you want 100% success
  5. Never heard of them, are they new out?
  6. Hi Joe, Suffolk tree services who I sub for are always on the look out for subbies, might be worth dropping them a line
  7. Potentially yes, although it looks like you would be back at a later date to take off the remaining piece. and yes, common sense is applied a lot on these situations
  8. It's always best to not cut back to the trunk where possible. Hard to say without seeing but I would probably have cut it to the growth, particularly if no tpo application had been made.
  9. They're missing a trick then obviously.
  10. Could have done with one of these a few weeks ago
  11. Shop in the background gives it away slightly mate
  12. Towing license is also a big plus these days
  13. Elm would be a big ask for any domestic splitter I reckon.
  14. The trunk itself is normally a good identifier also. True black poplar is particularly gnarly, has noticeably deeper ridges in the bark in my experience. Any photos of the trunk close up or is the ivy obscuring it too much?
  15. My apologies if my post made it seem like I was tarring all with the same brush. We have many good members who submit valuable content whose real identities I know nothing of
  16. Interesting. Don't see them here, not on that scale. All we have are over expired plantantions that were originally planted for match sticks..who uses matchsticks these days!
  17. Anyone heading to Saltex this year? Been a few years since I attended this show. It used to have a growing arb section, not sure if this has been downsized these days?
