  1. Is there a reason the Preston course is half the price of the others or is that an error on your part? I’m not tight but that’s worth the drive almost
  2. Not really convinced by these systems, and yes you are right its open to abuse. Google reviews isn't much better. It can be a major pain in the are getting a review removed, if its even possible. Personally if I was looking for a tradesman I would go on references rather than reviews. I might read reviews of things like products I am purchasing, or hotels, but even them I take with a pinch of salt as I know how petty people can be
  3. Is the course in Preston identical to the other locations?
  4. What’s your budget and what size timber will you be cutting?
  5. Give it time, it’s brand new. Oh and add more content
  6. Nothing strange. I believe they are putting the web address into google and it’s not finding it. Basically it’s not listed on google
  7. Well spotted. yes. I did all the top and about a half of the sides, the boss was in the mewp doing the side over the garage and plastic roof. could have been climbed but in all honesty I doubt I would have got it done in a day. I’ve slowed down somewhat
  8. Out on the tools for a couple days, just making sure I still got it

  10. It’s surprising how easy a chainsaw chain will cut manually. We tied a section of chain to a piece of rope each end a couple years ago to fell an ash tree that a large limb had fallen into and was subsequently hung up in
  11. It’s a recent addition to the site and appears to be being well used. Most local tree guys will already have their own tip sites, this helps the out of towners so to speak
  12. Hi Paul, try adding a listing to our tip site directory https://Arbtalk.co.uk/recycling
  13. Jeez! Well let’s hope you’re fully cured and recover well mate
  14. Must have missed something. What was the op for?
  15. Are you looking for recommendations for a company? think that’s nick baileys area
  16. This is a ranking system from the old software. I assumed it worked still but obviously not!! inhave a full set of fingers by the way ?
  17. Not much to say really. I was able to process a load in approximately 5 minutes with mjnimal effort. Nice sharp edge made a clean cut every time. Thumbs up from me.
  18. Ironically as a result of this, in 2-3 years time she will probably have even more leaves to deal with ?
  19. Well it was the weekend. Perhaps he’s one of those rare beasts whose found a balance between life and work ?
  20. Plus who cares if I’m paying a fee quid extra for the stihl badge...it matches my chainsaws
