  1. What the heck do you get for the basic starting price then? a steering wheel?
  2. Mark does some great work. Here’s a picture frame he made for me out of Yew a few years ago. Still one of my favourite items in the house
  3. If someone can afford a good enough lawyer you can be sure they could find a way of blaming a tree or hedges demise on you! Doubtful you’d get insurance to cover something like that either. Would he interested to know if there’s ever been such a case in law
  4. Quit it you too, go to pm if you must. Thanks
  5. Does appear unnecessarily large to me! Not used one though
  6. That’s true. Also the SAS, DEA, CIA, and KGB regularly monitor us ?
  7. Think it’s discontinued. Your only hope is finding someone with old stock
  8. So they are cutting it back to £350 per week? That’s still way too much, infuriating
  9. Well keeping in mind they will in nearly all cases be removing everything beneath their anchor points, they are not going to be running into situations where they have to drop down/round branches etc, at least not as often. I hadn't considered that.
  10. Actually in st Neots If you bother to read the post properly. Irrelevant to the question regardless
  11. Short clips can be uploaded
  12. you’ll need a site visit, but as for a ball park figure, £4K might me a good starting point
  13. Yep I was just looking. I see the last one this year is booked up
  14. Well, I did the BTI through the AA yesterday. As the title suggests it was very basic and not really tailored to tree surgeons. That being said, it was very well delivered and I did pick up a few tit bits of useful information. I also learned enough of my ability in a classroom environment to know that going straight into the PTI might be a big ask.
  15. I think stihl do an introductory day once a year. not sure when the next one is @STIHL GB ?
  16. Well i''m no expert but I believe that should be enough to go through a small claims court, others will be along who know better i'm sure. And go for the price of the whole job, not just time wasted
  17. Do you have anything in writing of them accepting the quote? Even via email
  18. Was it their 40th anniversary or something? Wasn't that your first clue that the boss man might be there? ?
