  1. STIHL has upgraded its petrol pole pruner range with the introduction of the new HT 105 and HT 135, providing professional users with greater durability and efficiency, helping to tackle tree maintenance and arborist work with ease. Ideal for de-limbing tree branches, removing dead wood and general maintenance, the new HT 105 and 135 long reach pole pruners replace the popular HT 103, 131 and HT 133 models, and feature a series of upgrades to improve the user experience. Highly ergonomic and well balanced due to the weight of the square-cut telescopic shaft, the new models feature a robust square telescopic drive tube with a simple length adjustment mechanism, allowing users to adjust the pole length from 270-390cm quickly and easily. In addition, both the HT 105 and 135 feature a light-weight magnesium gearbox and a rigid branch hook that is a part of the magnesium housing, offering improved usability and product longevity. Both models utilise a powerful, high torque 4-MIX engine, which not only offers excellent power-to-weight ratio, but also delivers a power output of 1.05kW (HT 105) and 1.4kW (HT 135) respectively. Other features include lateral shaving ejection technology to prevent clogging and user downtime, a gearbox which boasts a marker line for a more accurate operation, as well as a foot stand to protect the engine housing from ground contact. Both models are compatible with the STIHL RTS harness for further comfort. For more information on STIHL’s range of long-reach pole pruners, please visit www.stihl.co.uk.
  2. The wood chips with limitations option is for people who cannot accept stuff like Yew which is poisonous to livestock. If you choose this option when creating a listing then you should then list in the description what the limitations are. I'm working on making this more obvious...seemed a good idea in my head at the time 😁
  3. Hi Karen, you’ll need to start over, I can’t move sites between categories. I’ll remove your current one for you
  4. At that money if it falls apart after only a year you’ve not really lost much!

  11. I know someone who had one in their shop and it was forever going off by mistake.
  12. Planner T-shirt’s last and last. Mark’s suggestion would probably suit you though. you already know my opinion on woolpower for warmth
  13. Probably the same ones who are sitting on their 200's believing it was the best saw ever made 😁
  14. Have they binned the 0% bik?
  15. Not muddled, you just don’t understand what I’m saying. Read it again, and then again if you still don’t understand
  16. Not really a case of that is it. I have half a tank in my truck. If I knew I was going to be travelling I’d probably have queued up with everyone else today just so I knew I had a full tank. As it is I don’t HAVE to travel, and have already told the missus we won’t be going anywhere further than a few miles away this weekend for whatever weekend activity we choose to do. Not everyone has that choice though
  17. Pics would help, species is important
  18. Busy that night Michael!

  20. Public liability isn’t actually a legal requirement for starters, but very wise to have. And of course you’re never going to get any commercial customers if you dont have it. in the meantime if you want to go and fell a few trees in Mrs mugging garden without it then carry on. You will just he personally sued if you happen to fell a tree on someone’s head. Employers liability is a legal requirement on the other hand. If you have anyone under your supervision you need this
  21. Hardly going to have a massive root system is it!
  22. Paddle boardings something i've always fancied trying. I just bought a ready formed Niwaki tree at considerable expense. Going to buy some saplings soon and try making some from scratch. Was planning a thread as it happens.
  23. If I recall you had it for a steal first time round? Hopefully the new rate is still reasonable all things considered.
  24. Thats a new one on me!
  25. It not just the diameter but the construction. Mountaineering rope is nylon and not designed to be used in a friction based climbing system. Hence the op described the system he was taught for emergency use. Prusiks just wouldn’t be used in nylon rope otherwise.
