Helping new members

Please guys, try to be tolerant of newer members. What may seem obvious to the more experienced user is not so easy for beginners. New guys, try to familiarise yourselves with the forums functions ie Search, FAQs etc buttons along the top of the pages, and if you experience any problems posting please contact one of the forums moderators for further assistance and we will endeavour to help if possible. We want this forum to be a place for all involved in all aspects of tree work, or even just an interest in trees, and unfortunately not all are computer wizards. Thanks for your cooperation:001_smile:

Good point Andy, and without derailing too much, perhaps the longer serving members can also think before posting threads like "where can i get the cheapest saws" or "whats the date of such show"

Would cut down on the escalating number of useless threads if they just looked for themselves.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
