Email received today:

I've recently chopped down a few very large conifer trees in my garden meaning I have a lot of excess wood, is this something your company would buy? If not do you know

If any other company etc... that does?

Many thanks

How much should I offer

I once was conned into looking at a "job" involving a long narrow sloping garden where at the bottom there was a huge pile of assorted cuttings, clippings etc.

The owner suggested that they would be willing to let me have it if I wanted for the upcoming village bonfire night, I said no and they were quite miffed saying something along the lines of "you try and do something for the community....."

Just tell them the truth...

You can't afford it and give em Kev's number 😊

I had an email with a photo attached this week showing a pile of chipper food, knotty crap and rot. They were willing to let it go for £300 if it was cash. I was tempted but instead went to look in the yard and realised at that rate I had enough to order a small carribean island, yacht and 2 helicopters. Who needs the lottery when you do tree work!!
