the tipper body is aluminium which saves a fair bit. Don't forget this is same chassis as the 7.2ton daily.

It my well be the same chassis but it's a 3.5t van, there will be no legal payload with that crane etc on it.

perhaps reading not your strong point. you can see the mass is 2079. well over a ton payload.

I'd say that was before the body and crane were added, put it over a weighbridge and let us know.

nope. its not registered until both crane and body are on as they both have to go on the v5.

I would say that's as a chassis cab, I don't care what your figures say, NO way will a 3.5t van with a crane, chip box , tool locker , men and kit have any payload left may be you just don't understand simple maths!

7000kg train weight on the daily. I would definitely go for at least the 170 horse if you towing a digger. Can't praise the auto box enough as well, all the tesco home delivery dailys come with them as standard as its cheaper in the long run than replacing clutches dealer told me with all the stop starting, not to mention easier on the driver.

 

Interesting what you say about auto gearbox as we have 2 older 3.5 ton Ivecos, the crewcab does not like towing our 2.2ton chipper and has gone though a couple of clutches.. I think you might be surprised what your legal payload isn't..

That will be easy close to 3 ton with chip box,tool boxes and men in it.

Never mind you can carry your sandwiches to work. But don't put them in the back as you will overload that back axle with the overhang.
