show us your pickup tipping gear

hey folks going to fab a tipping rear body for my L200 over the winter. Already have a ram and pump courtesy of Mick Dempsey (much appreciated Mick). Removed the rear tub (as it was rotten) to access the state of the chassis and as expected there is a bit of welding to do. Thankfully most of whats rotten is going to be removed anyway, tub mounts, rear crossmember (replaced and relocated further back). So I just need to make new rear spring hangers and I'll make a new rear diesel tank bracket as its pretty bad too. Other than the front corner bumper mounts the rest of the chassis is great, even the floor of the cab is like new. Anyway it'll leave me with a blank canvas to work with, basically just the bare chassis rails so if anyone could post up a pic or two of their tipper setups (body up) so I can see layout options etc. that would be much appreciated.

i just used a tipper off a double cab transit tipper and the frame work all shortened down

I just picked this ranger up- £10k with less than 50k on the clock. Added airbags and some mud tyres. Useful truck.

Finger crossed. Got the doublecab at 70k and it’s been very good to me, on 130k now.

Looks great! Is it the upprated weight one? What’s it’s payload kg and m3?

Yes it’s the updated one. Chip box holds 4.3m3 and you can pretty much fill it. Legal payload I can’t honestly remember, sure I was told around 8-900.

Budget tipper! Ranger with knackered tub, Landy 109 tipper in surprising solid nick. Had it on and safe enough to drive in a morning, it wants a few bits doing and the power pack connecting but much easier with it on the body. 
 

The plan was to cut it down, but it’s three inches short of the 60% of wheelbase overhang rule and holds a perfect cube so my mate wants to keep it as is.
