Wedding or stump grinding ?

Let me get this right. You had agreed to go to a wedding and you binned it off to go stump grinding?

Why not grind the stumps during the day and go to the evening?

I know you say you're right, but I guarantee you your fiance thinks you aren't. As others have said, if you're £5 away from losing your house then I take this back but when you're old and broken, you're not going to be looking back at your memories and thinking "I had a mint time stump grinding" You should be thinking about the times dancing with your fiance and drinking with your friends. Because I know if I pulled that, I wouldn't have either for very much longer.

Stefan you got off lightly from what I can tell. My misses would have probably kicked me out for a week after a stunt like this. Unless she sprung it on you last minute in which case other commitments must come first. But it sounds like this one was planned.

I work hard and long hours including weekends but I will always make time for the misses and the little'un otherwise I would not have these rocks in my life.

Don't take what you have for granted otherwise you will regret it.

I am delighted to see the market got so few dedicated workers, it makes it so much easier for myself in time to come. Vice words from Jaime bray thanks.... Such an awesome response to the post thanks all, it serves a purpose.

Fair point, I reflect on it. But If you only ONCE treat work as no 2 then it will be a habit
