Been asked why I'm tired

Some people think they work hard, some are right some aren't. Maybe father in law does work hard but maybe being humble and supportive instead of being a p***k about you doing so and being tired would be better!

I thought I worked hard but that rap sheet for one day is impressive, good lad. What's your day rate?

Whatever it is it aint enough....

Sorry for the slight derail, but what do you reckon the hardest job is physically, day in, day out?

We all know tree work of any kind can be extremely physically demanding (although I try and make it as easy as possible).

I reckon I could still do a day like Don, but I'd be in bed afterwards till about Saturday.

Manual digging is hard graft, so is mixing muck or concrete without a mixer, but it's unlikely you'd be doing any of them as a job as such.

What do you reckon?

Before you start Eggs, your job is easy, shite flows downhill.

Unless he's done his day rate twice? Therefore as has been discussed it's a fixed price for work regardless of duration in one twenty four hour period, similar to pricing a job at a set price sometimes your done at twelve sometimes your still there at six.

Spot on day rate twice 😉 not that money was the issue It was simply the question why I'm tired money motivates one to work harder and longer but the body still feels tired like I said I have no problem working hard doing two days work in one is relatively common for me it's a way to keep my customers as happy as poss when am busy and struggling for free days for them all this is irrelevant I was just bemused buy a man who has worked 8hrs a day and never driven a mile in his life asking me why I am tired

Personally the hardest job I ever did was working in a brickyard making bricks.

Hardest job I ever did was pushing two buttons on a production line in a factory that made steel buildings. I knew if I stayed there I would die slowly. Very slowly.

There are different types of "hard"

Hand dig outs landscaping are hard. But they aren't stressful

Long distance lorry driving is hard in the sense that it is mentally tiring.

Driving a telehandler on a busy construction site is very stressful.

As well as running an Arb business my wife and I also run a recovery centre for ex-addicts and alcoholics.

I have a 9-5 job and a 5-9 job, both are demanding in different ways. But both are hugely rewarding (not in the financial sense though)

I've had some really awful jobs, but the thing that made them hard was the fact that I hated doing them.

I've had some really physically demanding jobs. Fencing,
