need help with buying landrover

2.5 deisel isnt it ?i remember mine i had , good strong engine but it was quiker to get out walk up the hill !:001_smile:

 

Loaded it does struggle to keep 35 up a hill. But it does not make alot of difference on journey times just feels like it. Sometimes you need an extra ten minutes in a warm cab rather than stood in a wet forest.

yeh very true , ! although i must say my b reg had tyres more suited to a tractor on it which didnt help the speed issue :thumbdown: but at least i got to put one of those stickers on it "you can go fast ! i can go anywhere!"

Bought this about 2 months ago for a grand. Been good so far

 

Steve, take a small hammer and go round the whole vehicle tapping the chassis, bet ya £50 it looks like swiss cheese by the time you've finished.... Seriously mate, its probably worth £1000 but it looks like an MOT failure waiting to happen.:biggrin: Is it for delivering logs?

thanks for all the advice. Looks like landys are good if i am doing a lot of work in the country. transits good for the city.

 

Though there is just somethings about landy's that suck you in..so will prob start looking.

 

I am after a 130. tipper...with storage foir saws etc. roof rack. budget 7,000..but could go up to 9,000 depending.

will let you know next June when mot comes up. They can use there own hammer I aint getting under it looks dirty and oily under there. Im a generator engineer we stand up to service engines :biggrin:
