Have other governments just played follow the leader or have they seen sufficient evidence to come to the same conclusion?

Q to consider, would other nations want to make an enemy of Russia on a whim?!

Only if they believed what they'd been told.

Governments have lied about these things before - WMD in Iraq for example.

If they had evidence to prove that Russia was behind it then they should make it available.

78 year old pensioner stabs one of two burglars to death while protecting his wife and home.

I’ll be gutted if he gets charged.

Yup, there should be no penalty for protecting your loved ones/home.  I feel sorry for the guy,  it'd be lousy to have to kill someone.

Lousy but if someone's in your home at night without permission he had to use deadly force.

I got attacked in a nightclub from front and rear by 2 guys and though it quite literally sickened me to do it I kicked 1 guy in the face after I put him down cos I was taking shots in the back of the head by the other. That is nothing compared to being in your home. You have to assume you are in imminent peril and more importantly so are your loved ones.

Wont surprise me if he goes down in this current climate.

I agree- it’s unlikely a 78 year old is going to be able to physically restrain a burglar let alone two- no doubt he used whatever force necessary to protect his wife and home- there should be no protection for the criminal in cases like this.
