After no careful consideration whatsoever I have decided to be offended by that comment!

It's about time that the privilaged accepted that idiots are an oppressed minority, and the world will only be truly just when idiots make up 50% of the representatives in every walk of life.

Don't even try to change my mind through reason, because even if I listened (which I won't) I will certainly fail to understand you.

Stick that in the pope and smoke it Dempsey!

Move to Cornwall....  There's a significant MAJORITY!

Jordan Peterson would say the danger in extreme feminism is it agitates as a group identity..  This is where woman and men identify as part of a group and not an individual in society..  Islam, Christianity and Judaism all thrive under the same assumption..

To belong to the group is paramount over individual rights..   For instance, British common law, or the US constitution.. bulwarks against group identity or authoritarian extremism..

communism, another form of authoritarian group identity or Nazism.

whether its Islam Communism or feminism its all about suppressing decent, and if it takes violence to do that then thats what it will take to get it done..   Just happens with feminism and the alt left nazi cowards they ain't gained the political clout or reached a tipping point just yet.

But believe me given the chance these scumbags are just as likely to send you to the gas chambers as the nazi's were if you tramp on any of their sacred cows..

look at early Christianity, from a persecuted minority in the Roman Empire to an authoritarian dictatorship that murdered thousands for descent.  Look at Islam, early on it was tolerant enough, but as its power expanded so did the brutality of its followers.

And don't imagine any of the early christian's or Muslims murdered to spread terror, they did it because they imagined it was a good thing in the long run.  kill a few thousand to save time in saving all the world... same thing with communism, same thing if Corbyn had his way..

Makes you wonder if the fella who coined the phrase, the road to hell is laid with good intentions, knew a thing or two....

Anyways, notice the correlation, every institution that wants to save mankind from himself is always the institution that needs to kill the most'est the fastest to get us into paradise...   beware of those with good intentions..

Good points Vesp and Forestboy. There are important things here that we need to be thinking about.

The problem, it seems to me, is that you won't make any headway because you both add unjustified hysterical nuggets to your opinions. This automatically puts people off, and on the defensive. The deeper underlying context just get's lost.

We certainly need to be on the lookout for bad ideas dressed up as good. This is easier in today's world as we are so much more connected and almost everyone has a voice. This gives me confidence that we will probably be OK.

My advice (for what it's worth) would be to tone it down a bit. Avoid the temptation to leap straight to apocalyptic conclusions and you might find a more receptive audience.

On the other hand, if you merely wish to provoke and make people dislike you, carry on.

I get your point. I don't intend to provoke honestly. Just saying what I think. But I don't care about being disliked though at all. Rather people knowingly disliked me than didn't truly know what they liked. It's a short life
