The report was discredited by a colleague of the authors at UCL....

 

 

 

The person that discredited it was a Professor Emeritus in statistics called Mervyn Stone. He said the report contained "schoolboy errors".

 

 

 

So to sum up, a couple of academics produce reports that have previously been proved entirely wrong. They produce a report that "shows" immigration is good for the UK. This report is widely criticised by fellow academics and by anyone that looks at it that has half a brain.

 

 

 

Yet the BBC and media use this report repeatedly to show that immigartion is good for the UK...

This is spot on. We are all clueless including the government.

Well that was when they were threatened back then, that being independent would mean not being in the EU..

 

Seems circumstances have changed somewhat....

 

England voted because they didn't like the idea of bureaucrats in Brussels running their affairs, well, Scotland don't like bureaucrats from London running theirs...

 

Once Scotland gets its independence, perhaps a movement might evolve in the North of England..

Independence for the North.... has a certain ring to it doesn't it?...

 

Perhaps London might want to become a City State, keep all their own money!!...
