During the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Vance was an outspoken critic of Republican nominee Donald Trump. In a February 2016 USA Today column, he wrote that "Trump's actual policy proposals, such as they are, range from immoral to absurd."[105] In the Atlantic and on the PBS show hosted by Charlie Rose,[106] Vance called Trump "cultural heroin"[107] and "an opioid of the masses."[108][109] In October 2016, he called Trump "reprehensible" in a post on Twitter,[110] and called himself a "never-Trump guy."[111] In a private message on Facebook he called Trump "America's Hitler".[112]

They should get on well then.👍

Was that just a little bit before Starmer supported Corbyn 🤷‍♂️😞

Thats politics I’m afraid, 8 year old comments count for nothing.

So, apparently, the guy wasn't breaking the law until he pulled the trigger, and thus the local PD couldn't fire on him.

There are also a lot of 2nd amendment chaps saying he was well within his rights to open fire on Trump if he perceived him to be a threat, which wouldn't really work very well as a defence in court if he was still alive, but it's fairly funny to think about it.
