The proof-reader could have done a better job but the sentiment rings true.

The difference being that Ukrainians that do come here don’t hate us or want to turn this country into a sharia state sh…hole like they’ve just come from. They’re much more like us in their values - looking out for them does not make anyone “racist” which is a word thrown about far far too easily nowadays

Too simplistic citizen smith.
would I take 2-3 predominantly military age Muslim males into my home, whom have illegally crossed the channel from a number of safe countries ?? “ absolutely not”

would I take a Ukrainian Family and children as part of an official scheme  ? “ absolutely yes”

It's art, it's supposed to provoke a response and it has worked.

Would you check their ID before rescuing them?

Mark,

If your immediate family member fell overboard and there was also a ‘refugee’ in the freezing water who was a stranger to you and you could only rescue one of them who would you rescue?

Tim, if anyone fell overboard would you try to rescue them?

The fact you gave that facile response let’s me know you would of course save your family member without even thinking about it.

I'd like to think I'd try to save them both.
