The 9/11 attackers were mostly middle class Saudi's- pilots, architects, engineers.

 

The terrorists blowing us up do not want what we have. They despise the way that we live.

In fact most suicide bombers are not actually what you would call "pious" islamists, rather, they tend to be just pathetic insecure delinquents trying to find some twisted way of becoming someone.
