Just been watching it on twatter, it went off there some. Two questions: why did the police turn up in such numbers... because they knew there would be trouble, : if so why weren't they prepared for the backlash, and had to back off.

Weakness simply emboldens the mob.

Senior management/ political interface is preventing the effective keeping of law & order and bobbies are being placed in an insidious position.

Cressida (doesn’t like) Dick needs to get some balls - this is comedy gold - either don’t put the bobbies in harms way and come out and say the mob can do as it likes, or do the job properly and crush this uprising before it gains any more momentum (drum roll, cymbal crash!)

Alternatively, give a general make & mend to 3 Para and send them out for an afternoon on the piss in Brixton during a CCTV ‘scheduled maintenance’ period - let’s get the job done and move on.

Once the computers and machines achieve parity (hell, maybe even dominance) the white collar paper shufflers will be recognised for the value they add to the world - very little - and those with the perpetual faint whiff of penetrating  oil and diesel will be crowned the socket set wielding Champions of humankind!

✊?

It’s almost as if Royal Mail read my post yesterday and thought, that ArbTalk is some canny source of info for strategic planning:

TAMEBAY.COM

Royal Mail redundancies will see around half of Royal Mail's senior leaders and most senior managers lose their jobs

Who’s got something to say about Tamebay?
