I’m inclined to agree AND I’d highlight the very much more recent and current example of revolution in the 3rd precinct Minneapolis.

I know nothing about american internal politics but attribute much of the problems in the world today as a result of american foreign policy.

The unruly behaviour in america will fail becacuse of my last point, it is based on an uprising of the poor, just like Wat Tyler it will be quelled by executive decision to remove leaders because it has no basis in the corridors of power.¿It does indicate a groundswell of unrest in the untermensch though.

Applause for side-stepping the invite for agreement over a dodgy opinion piece from a far right yank rag.

You could also counter it by showing that 6 of the 10 Communist Rules for Revolution have currently been ticked off.

An equally dubious source but entertaining for some no doubt ?

Kevin and I often agree on what's wrong, we just don't agree on what to do about it.

Haven’t you spotted the common trend?

Find the most radical ‘source’ to accompany a comment so that detractors and non believers jump straight on the source, rather than acknowledging the empirical evidence which supports the point ?

Its just a little game that entertains me.... Childish I know.

So, regardless of the source, a small anarchistic revolution occurred in Minneapolis which resulted in the withdrawal of the forces of law and order and the ensuing chaos, lawlessness and rampant criminality.

The comparison was with OSM’s ref to the perils of revolution and I think (FWIW) it was a fair point.

Don’t let that get in the way of an opportunity to focus on the credibility of a source though....  I mean, is the Socialist Worker hailing it as a minor success in the people’s uprising?  Surely the ‘facts’ should be the same regardless of the doctrinal opinion.

Riot results in police withdrawal.

Lawlessness ensues.

Those that either contributed or tacitly supported (silence is violence is, I think, a current mantra) may have discovered the ‘alternative’ world order wasn’t quite as advertised.

Discuss.... (or deny that is a reasonable summary)
