This is true, I don't usually, insults and going after the person being the lowest form of internet discussions (slightly above discussing Hitler in what kills a thread). Though in this case it is not 'sides' - Mark has said before he had an issue with drink, JohnsonD is 'weaponising' that to attack him... which I don't think is acceptable - I'd do the same if he was attacking you or any others for personal issues - fair and even.

Anyway, Greenland (I suspect that the shooting in the US has run it's course here now, ICE officer screwed up, woman killed, he will get told off but that will be the end of it).

 

China taking Greenland? That is a bit of a stretch of the imagination. Russia taking it... again a bit of a stretch considering it is protected by NATO and Putin not likely to go up against us directly.

 

There was a report that suggested Trump was willing to walk away from NATO to take Greenland - which would weaken NATO, and weirdly make the US more vulnerable to Russian attacks via Greenland.

 

 

More likely that he has been listening to Sinatra, a realisation of his own mortality and wanting to do things "My Way"... leaving a legacy so his name lives on - taking Venezuela, the brief renaming of the Kennedy Centre - and so on strikes me as a vain man wanting to leave a legacy without realising just taking what you want or naming something isn't the way to do it.

Driving around or just sitting there in the middle of road in your rather BIG SUV while these officers are on their way ON MISSION to somewhere(really none of your bussines) , clearly means you don't want them TO GET there, wherever they were/are going! 

 

NOW, if they ask you NICELY to get off the fcnk road out of their way ,so they can do their JOB ,even try to get you out of your "stubborn car" 🙄. and you still fck around with PRND "thingie/stick"  ,then you're disrespecting them AND the law...

 

The cherry on top is you actually put the big hunk of metal in DRIVE gear and go forward where a cop is trying to "convince you" ,still nicely to back off... 

 

So they can eventually move forward in their own car to complete their mission(whatever that is...) 

 

Last time I "checked" even here in our "small Romania" ,trying to runover/kill a cop cannot and will not "end nice" for you! 

 

Although our cops are still trying and actively avoid killing/shooting your A$$...

 

And remember they recently received good guns Beretta PX 4 ,exactly because a 43 year old police guy Cristian Amariei  got killed by a 48 year old criminal Marcel Lepa... While trying to arrest him...

 

Not nice beeing shot with a serbian 7.62mm Zastava M70 while on duty... 

And die...

I think it is pretty clear Trump is going to step up the pressure to get Greenland; but ultimately it will be a deal just like the majority of the current USA.  
 

In other words the USA will literally buy Greenland.  They bought Alaska, Florida, not to mention the Louisiana deal that included all or part of 13 states; and others.  As there is such a small population of Greenland they could easily make it worth their while and make a tempting offer to the Danish government.
