While the tasteful period of time expires and everyone can then get to deporting foreigners, criminals, foreign criminals etc, I'll get in first with my cause.

The Australian state bars people from carrying firearms for self defence. Let's say there were 1000 jews in the park. Let's say it was all families of husband + wife + two kids. 250 men. The jews know everyone hates them. They're also fighters. If 10% of the 250 men there were carrying, that would be 25 armed men. That's a platoon. If the 2 chancers knew what they might be up against, would they have done it? I suspect only if they wanted to appear on the front page of Jew Today, full of holes, under the headline, 'DON'T MESS WITH JEWS.'

Death toll currently 15. We can safely assume all 15 of them were praying for the (armed) police to arrive in seconds, not minutes. At least some of them will have been crouched behind a bin, thinking, "Christ. I need a gun, now.

And some politician (with armed guards that the little people pay for) will look into the eyes of their widows, widowers, orphans etc and say no. Indefensible.

As much as this is devastating and could have been worse I don't think people being armed is the answer. Mass shootings such as this are such a rare thing in aus and the UK. Just look at The USA.

Agree arming civilians in Alex’s world is not a good idea , if your a civilian of a country it doesn’t and shouldn’t give you entitlement to firearms unless vetted for valid reasons with back ground checks to do so..if any thing I would say ozzy gun laws are too lax if jihadists can arm themselves.

As for this talk of ww3 and the absolute (unt Starmer pushing us closer to the brink every day ,we are still bankrupt from ww2 , the outcome was still the same the west vs the east with Germany still being central whilst America sits on the side lines to all wanting to control Ukraines resources …it is like watching a replay …this madness needs to end.

Starting to look like the shooter was on the police Radar, Australians have ignored Mossads,s intelligence warnings, allowed anti Jewish sentiment to fester and in this case allowed an individual whom they had knowledge of to arm himself legally. You are already hearing the standard politicians waffle about gun control and “ we need to look at more legislation”  no doubt very much like Dunblane the police failings will be swept under the carpet.
I’ll repeat what I said previously the site pro Palestine anti Jewish voices are definitely not their normal loud selves.

They are tight Matty, nearly as bad as ours. Someone has ****************ed up there.
Over here it’s literally one mistake and you are getting the knock in the door by the men in black dressed like something of COD

I’ve a mate going through an acrimonious divorce at the min and they have taken his shotguns off him.

I didn’t know that… I genuinely thought every one drove around the outback with an old 303 hung in the Ute

Both the shooters were on the ASIO watchlist apparantly but still were allowed to keep 6 guns. Tge pump shotguns were already ilegal ,but amazingly terrorists didnt follow the law.

The four uniformed Police armed with pistols and radios cowered behind cover for 20 minutes untill a plain clothes officer closed in and began engaging the shooters, then the four officers remembered to protect more than just themselves. In the meantime an unarmed green grocer had herotically disarmed one of the shooters.

But now the cops are looking at tougher gun laws because removing law abiding peooles freedoms will somehow make them safer.

Is it possible to be pro Palestine without being anti-Jewish?

I think so - pro Palesting, anti illegal Israeli settlers - I'll fess up to that.

There are about 1 million Jews living in New York. If one of them ever becomes POTUS, then Israel can have it's own B2 stealth bombers to go with the rest of the arab bashing kit

Unfortunately that’s not what has happened in the UK and many other countries.

That will not be the narrative they run with Mike.
Both the shotgun’s as you say were running extended mag tubes which are not allowed over there.
