Yeah I said that didn’t I ?? Reality is there is no point, it’s always been like that.
The prelude to me saying that including the pic is maybe if you are prepared to lift the barrier’s somewhat of an explanation of why it might be happening.

On a slightly different note Mark,

what do you think is causing the huge                increase in Autism and ADHD type issues          with kids today ??

kids having kids

bad parenting,
bad diet,
polluted planet,
no diagnosis required to claim benefits for it,

No known medical test,
people love to "pigeonhole" stuff, any variance in behavior has to be categorized, often wrongly. none of which helps genuine cases.

Micro-plastics?

MMR vaccination?

Petrochemical derived food colourings?

COVID vaccination?

I’d be surprised if either of the pilots would have been aware of the actual position of the switches. They would have only known about whether or not the fuel had been switched off by the visual display in front of them. And what they would have seen is the position of the HP Cocks (sic) not necessarily the position of the manual “switches”. It’s just a small point but these are the sort of things the investigators will be looking at. Things like fire warning actions and certain engine spool fractures can directly close the HP Cocks which brings into the realm of possibility an electronic malfunction rather than a mechanical action that closed the HP Cocks. Just saying!

It sounds like you know a fair bit about it. I only know what I've read about it and that obvioulsy depends on what the news is reporting and how they interpret it. I read that the black box said the switches (the ones in the cockpit) had been moved from on to off then back onto on again but that could be the news reporter getting it wrong I suppose.

If it was a mechanical or software issue then yeah hopefully they will get to the bottom of it ASAP as there are a lot of 787's about!

I think we've digressed somewhat, from ADHD and Autism, onto other agendas.

but all are indicative of the current themes the young are subjected to these days, hardly surprising there are mental problems, and various other manifestations of unbalanced behavior.

I'm 72 I was schooled as were most throughout my childhood, I cant recall anything other that boys and girls, I don't recall kids requiring therapy, or drugs, or special toilets, these are associated with today, and   now they have "labels" autism and adhd are but two such labels.

I completely agree that the young are now subjected to far too many adverse influences. Social Media, Ultra Processed Food and pollution being some of the worst. Also, that we're now sadly seeing plenty of consequences of those. I grew up in the 70/80s and life was a hell of a lot simpler then. I have grave concerns about all the shit that my son is going to have to navigate through as he grows up. Not to mention the fcked planet he's inheriting.

However, I don't agree with lumping ADHD/Autism together with BS like kids identifying as cats. They don't all belong under the same umbrella. The former should not, except in extreme, cases be considered a problem IMO. The later definitely is, obviously. Unless you think vaccines like MMR and Covid are responsible for the Cat Children as well.

I'm an observer, with my own opinion based on my observations.

my observations have led me to the conclusion,, "never rule anything out"

you have my sympathy in addressing your first paragraph.

one of the reasons I chose not to have kids.

You would never reach a conclusion if you didn't rule things out though. Or, you would never reach a conclusion if you took everything into account.

ADHD possibly caused from the increase in air travel for instance, or caused by the increase in the spread of Japanese knotweed. I know for a fact the first one will hold water with chemtrail believers :D
