APPLE.NEWS

Labour MPs including Diane Abbott have been offered peerages to stand down and make way for Sir...

And remind me what the Labour logo is this time around “ Change “.
Doesn’t look like much is going to change at all in reality, mind you maybe this is what labour mean when they talk about reforming the House of Lords 🤔

Got to love the USA. In 2024 days between mass shootings, maximum achieved so far: 13

UK mass shootings since 2000: 19, which the US had achieved by January 17th this year alone.

Always a good argument for gun controls and never a good argument to relax them.

However it looks like Donald Trumps conviction has barred him from owning guns for 1 year... so watch this space if he gets elected that the requirements for gun ownership will change and 'white collar' crimes such as fraud won't count. Sorry, went all political there, don't know what came over me then.

Who do you think would make a worse president, Trump or Biden? Try not to mention Trump in your answer.

The mass shooting we see too often nowadays is indeed a sad state of affairs but the question that’s always avoided by the “ gun control lobby” is why ? Firearms controls were virtually nonexistent not that long ago in the USA and the mass shooting phenomenon was yet to be an issue. What is it about the world we live in today that drives someone to commit such an act Solve that puzzle and you are a long way to sorting the issue. My own views as a FAC/ Shotgun and in Scotland Air Weapon certificate holder is that it’s the  person should be licensed not so much the firearm , but that’s neither here nor there. Regards the USA and its approach well I admire the guys who defend the 2nd amendment, history has been shown here and in other countries that any form of control is never enough for those in power. Anyway what I wouldn’t do is then try and swing a mass shooting into some form of dig based upon my own political bias.

Leaving the incredibly difficult subject of Mass  shootings behind and back to Trump as I stated the other day if and it’s a big if Trump has been making unsubstantiated, malicious and false claims then he should indeed be held accountable for them. Let’s face it, who likes a  man spouting BS and lies 🤷‍♂️

Its pretty rare is it not that a licensed gun owner of any sort goes shit crazy?  Look to the unlicensed and the don't give a f#ck mindset, then try to round em up. Same sort of policing goes with motor crimes. The licensed and legal guys are the easy targets to control with minimal effort

100% 👍

The Dunblane tragedy should have never happened if current at the time legislation had been enforced correctly.
As for US 🤷‍♂️

As I say never mind the guns what mindset could do such a thing. But just look at London a few days ago yet another drive by random shooting and we have sone of the most stringent gun control legislation in the world.

Most US mass shootings in the last 20 years or so have been carried out by the legal owner of the gun google reckons. My view is if there are more guns available then there will be more reaching the hands of the criminals.
