I wouldn't go getting Christianity even in it's worst moments mixed up with Muslim Extremism.

They are poles apart.

I've got Muslim mates and family. They have their faith, and I can assure you that they're offended by these scum as much as we are.

Not a great time to be an integrated Muslim in Britain, for sure.

I agree with that. Ahmedi Muslims have developed a version of Islam that's quite "friendly" with the West. When you see muslims at candle light vigils it will generally be ahmedis.

Mainstream muslims hate them and consider them heretics. The glasgow shopkeeper was killed because he was an ahmedi. The Muslim Council of Britain has issued a decree that ahmedis are not Muslims.

For me, the only answer is widespread deportations and inprisoning extremists.

But that isn't an answer, however understandable in these emotive times, it's a short term retaliation. The only thing stopping radical Islamists from killing us by the thousands is their current lack of access to the technology to hit us from afar.

If they get hold of this technology our only hope is that they choose not to use it. The only way to get them to choose not to use it is to change they way that they think.

I realise this is almost impossibly difficult, but what option have we got other than to try?

Find it interesting so many leftists and other useless idiots on this thread are actually rushing to defend Islam and even Islamist terrorists even after an Islamist terrorist was responsible for dismembering, mutilating and maiming young girls in Britain this week.

People like you are weak minded cuckolds to Islam who stand by with indifference claiming Islam is a religion of peace and we shouldn't be too hard on the Islamists who slaughter our children.

You're cowards.

Would you care to name who you are accusing here?

Bollox

Christianity, and it's influence over the people of western Europe has changed massively over the last century.

100 years ago the question "are you religious" would be seen as absurd.

Human rights as a concept of law, not religious benefit,

Women's rights,

Lbgt rights,

The rights of normal citizens parallel with people with "status " in society.

All of those changed more in the last 75 years than the 750 before that.

Change can come quickly

Don't agree with you.....

Christianity only really effects change when taken on a personal level.

For example, as an individual, if we try to live out Christian values in our own personal lives.

Loving our neighbour

Helping the widow

Feeding the orphan

Protecting the weak and vulnerable

Putting others first etc..

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you etc.

It changes our lives on a personal level but has a positive impact on those around us.

You can't impose faith or belief on people or society as a legislation.

"Human Rights" when applied in the ECHR sense collectively across society has had some really negative consequences. The "rights" of the individual takes precedence over the greater good and safety of society. You only have to look at the fiascos of Abu Hamza, Anhem Chowduray et all, and countless number of criminals who we have not been able to deport or lock up because of the twisted rulings from the ECHR.

Human Rights should be applied so that the greater good of society takes precedence over the individual.

I've spent years in the Middle East... It's an eye opener how poor Arabs are with technology...

Personally I think we've got to stop islamic immigartion and deport all the muslims that we legally can. I think one of the problems is that we keep on getting "hill billy" muslims from Pakistan that keeps on reinforcing backward beliefs...

Lock up the extremists and keep the hill Billy's out and hopefully British muslims will integrate.

I think the problem westerners have is that we think everyone thinks like us. We think "we'll let those poor refugees into Europe and they'll be so grateful that they settle in and integrate".

However they actually think "Thanks to Allah we have been let into Europe. He wishes us to spread the Islamic caliphate into the crusader lands".

This isn't going to end well. This is going to lead to a civil war.

Only if it's left up to people like you. 25 million muslims in Europe. You need to learn to live with them, they aren't going away.

Hi Ti,

I'm sure you would agree that whilst there is plenty of good advice in the bible there is also a great deal of terrible advice. A book dictated or inspired by an all knowing, all loving God should by definition be bloody brilliant cover to cover.

The bible is so far from this it should be discounted.

There is something wrong when someone can quickly flick through the pages and pages glorifying genocide, child sacrifice and slavery to get the bit about 'loving thy neighbour' and decide to dedicate one's life to it's earth shattering wisdom.

The Koran is even worse!

Not everyone is a wise as you Ti to only take on board the parts that promote human flourishing.
