Has anyone considered that the stihl saws are live when there is a battery in place and no off button? I've heard of a couple of incidents where saws and rope have come into contact because of this. What about the way the battery goes in, it's sort of like a bucket that collects debris? Anybody have any of these issues??

Wouldn't say it collects debris, but am concerned by how the battery clicks in.

We have the polesaw -general consensus from everyone who uses it is brilliant, but the battery can fall out regularly when that end is rested on the ground and picked up - wouldn't like to break a battery at £150 -170.00 a go.

I have used the 160 but only for a few weeks and am surprised Stihl haven't put a strap or lid on the battery as I wouldn't want that coming off - its not like you need the 'quick release' on the battery.
