I got the ap300 battery and fast charger which charges it in 30 mins. Much prefer this setup to the husky. I do like the rigid loop on the husky for hanging on carritool but you can easily make something up for the stihl.

Excellent choice Lancs!...i've been hanging mine on it's metal loop on my DMM Vault for nearly a year now although i prefer using the handle to clip onto.1483681800297.jpg.253c65d2a6bb35814feaf787886daf7b.jpg Happy Trimming! I'm trying to put a video together showing the 160T in action. My Silky....160T and MS200T are a the perfect go to tools.

It's about 400g difference. I tried both for weight in the shop and didn't really notice much difference. Hanging on the harness it feels lighter than the ms200. I would consider having a large and small battery

I use Lithium polymer batteries and these theoretically should not be discharged below 30% to ensure full potential of the battery.

Also , you should store them , when not in use , at 40-50% charge. Not 100%.

Can't see many people doing that ?

Anybody read up on lithium ions ????
