Ive got into doing a bit of climbing lately (bit of a hobby), and my trusty husqvarna 41 has finally blown up, and i dont fancy swinging the 560 around up a tree.

Hence i now need top handle saw, dont want to spend more than 300+ vat, not too fussed whether 30 or 40cc as each has its advantages.

Narrowed it down to Makita, tanaka, efco, solo, echo.

Which make and model of these top handles is the best saw in your experience?

Cheers

which model echos are the best quality ones?

anyone used any of the other makes?

Echo CS2510TES Top Handle Petrol Chainsaw

Echo CS360TES Top Handle Chainsaw

Very slightly over budget but worth it by every penny... Glowing reviews on here for both of them. My mate's got the 360; can't fault it at all.

OR!

I've used the wee makita top saws for a few years but they got replaced with still 150 but i would be tempted with the echo I've got a few other echo tools and i rate them quite highly
