It's always a bugger when selling something you got at a very good price and you have lost little or even made money whilst you have owned it to buy something brand new that you know will depreciate.

I've just part ex'd a Quadchip which I lost £2k on in 3 years against a Forst TR6 which will lose that in 6 months.

Don't think I'll ever be able to bring myself to sell mine.

I'm like that with my old landy 130, would take a bad day to get shot of her, just keep rebuilding, not that sentimental about other gear but I think it'd be different if I was selling as I needed to free up money rather than to upgrade, that'd be harder!

And there was me thinking that I was following a link to your little chipper video that I've watched more times than I should admit... You silly b******!

I bought the new one second hand too. It's mint but saved me a fair bit of money. I couldn't afford a new one.

I should think not. It's possibly the best combination I've ever seen. The picture of it craning a tree in a field complete with the trailer and chipper on the front was my screensaver on my old laptop! I will be eternally jealous of that rig!:thumbup1:

I'm usually selling chippers or trucks when I'm done through with them constantly breaking down and feeling the same, Last chipper I sold I was glad to see the back of it!

I regret selling my G wagon though... And a mint 288 xp but needs must.

with you on that one, i sold a pair of 288xp's, miss those old bad boys

I never ever, ever thought I would sell my 127 tipper, (I had had it 14years) but I did last year and don't regret it anywhere near as much as I thought I would, the money I got for it paid for a great ifor williams tipper:001_huh:

Nah, I couldn't do that. I spent £300 on it before it went - full service, fuel lines, wiring. It was all in first class order.

In my life I've bought some real junk and I've bought some really decent honest kit from genuine sellers. Knowing how I feel when I find out which way a second hand buy is going to go, I always send my stuff out in the best possible order. It's how I'd want it.
