Had a good day planned, beautiful weather, first outing with the new chipper, large leylandii at the bottom of a steep sloping garden. Use the tractor to drag or carry the stuff up the slope to the waiting chipper. Maybe 2 loads of chip one of logs, priced well, it would have been a great end to a good week financially.

Bang, starter motor on tranny gives up, no way round it, we towed it to the garage for replacement and repair, did some bits and bobs at the yard, then sent the lads home.

Sulked on the sofa for a bit unable to find the motivation to do anything positive.

Only one thing for it.....a drink.

would that be the newer tranny you just bought?...

Ordered a bunch of parts and then told they are wrong by my mechanic, yay.

Diesel and Two Stroke only have eyes for your sandwich.

Today has been busy, pricing etc, saw the first swallow of the year, then got on with some prepping of the veggie patches.
