Ascending with the zigzag?

The thing is with a foot ascender is....you are using one of the strongest muscles in your body to power you up!

 

Yea I know, but I have other reasons apart from following tradition...

 

I was thinking of building upper body strength on account of those teenagers that creep up here some nights.. if I have to whack one of em, I intend to leave an impression..:thumbup1:

. The pantin does sometimes have an annoying knack of kicking out when you don't want it to.

 

 

It's good if you can suss it, it saves bending to remove the rope. Keep your pantin inline with the fall of the rope 👍🏼

 

If I can get my rope up/after a break I use a right foot pantin and hand ascender with a foot strop to the left strop.

I can see that you attach the HAAS swivel clip (attached to the HAAS bungee cord) to the middle attachment hole of the hitch climber. But where is the best place to clip it when using the Zig Zag?

I clip it in to the retrieval ball that's on the end of the spliced eye on my rope if that makes sence?? Works for me.
