Who is building an ark?

Seriously this weather is ridiculous. It's not so much the quantity of rain as we have not had the flooding you poor souls up north have had just the frequency. Bought some new waterproofs and the beginning of October and in all honesty think they have been worn in anger every day since except for 10 when we were abroad:laugh1: Keep thinking it will have to stop sometime but apparently not looking at the forecast with rain predicted every day for the next week. In all seriousness it's not good for the mental health with no sun and relentless rain

Any tips for not letting this sh... get you down?

Bigger umbrella or get a parasol and pretend the sun is shining.

The wind broke my two big umbrellas and what is this thing you mention, the sun? :001_huh:

Actually we had a lovely day of work yesterday when they got the forecast wrong.... no rain until the very end of the day. Even a little bit of sun can help lift the spirits for a few days.

Maybe we just need to live/work in hope, for better days?

cheers, steve

change your attitude to rain, I love the rain myself...

Nothin better than idling all day while it pours down outside...

here watch this fellla explain how to hike in the rain....

i'd agree with this largely, attitude does change things.

However when you're climbing around in a slippy tree all day and your muscles are aching because of it, its hard to stay positive!!

I kind of laughed with the weather today; every time I put the waterproof jacket on it stopped raining & I'd take it off because I was getting sweaty.... then it would start raining.

Fortunately we had a dry spell in the afternoon. Then headed for home....

Unfortunately I got absolutely soaked putting (chasing) the chickens into their coops! Bah!!

cheers, steve
